After waiting for more than 6 months for the perfect site to come along, Schnitz's newest franchisees hit the jackpot, securing a prime corner site at the busy lower food court at Australia's largest shopping centre - Chadstone. The family of four - Javier, Anita, Martin and Irene opened their new Schnitz store on the 22nd of December 2011, right in the busiest time of the year at Chadstone, Christmas Shopping. The much anticipated opening was a huge hit with Chadstone retail staff and shoppers alike swarming to try the best pan-cooked schnitzels in town at the latest Schnitz.

While thousands of people made their annual pilgrimage to the shopping mecca - Schnitz Chadstone's franchisees and their team busily got their store ready for their first day of trade. No one could have anticipated the chaos our brand was about to create as soon as the hoarding came down and the store lights came on. Everyone worked hard to get things in place for the day but no amount of prep would have been able to cope with the demand they experienced. As lunch time crept around the lines of people began growing - dozens of hungry 'Schnitz-a-holics' waiting for their first Schnitz from our new Chadstone store. Customers waited patiently for their Schnitz and all staff put on a great show as they began creating the crumbed sensations that adorn our menu.
